Chapter One
-----------
The frost curled around the house. Everything it touched seemed to shudder with chills. A cold breeze swept across Infinity's nose making him sneeze lightly. He didn't want to get up. There was no reason to. He didn't need to go to school or work. Every need he had was satisfied by his maids and house keepers. The only thing he need to do was wait. Wait for when the agreement was void, which basically it was. He heard metal slicing the air near him and he quickly looked up. His little sister twirled a thin silver blade in circles. Every rotation almost hit her face.

"Put Scorn down," he commanded more worried for the sword as his sister ignored him.

"Hush up," she rebounded as she tossed it in the air and caught it by the hilt skillfully," It's just a blade like any other."

"It has seem as much of a mans flesh as you have," Infinity remarked.

"Or as much as much flesh as you have seen from Victory," Eternity giggled.

"Don't cross me," he snapped finally sitting up to face her. "I don't have time to give that filthy swine the leisure of seeing any part of me."

"Not what the maids whisper," she mumbled.

Her brother gave her a very bitter look making her turn away as he dressed. His long messy dark black hair spilled over his firm shoulders as his buttoned his shirt. His fuchsia eyes looked back at his sister's small frame.

"Victory and her kind are not wanted here," he said sternly," the maids spread rumors because they are pathetic."

"I know, I know," Eternity sighed placing the blade back in its sheath.

"Get ready for the meeting," he instructed.

She complied and wandered out into the corridors. Infinity slipped into his silk black pants and shoes. He walked down to the stairs where the woman he had mentioned stood at the bottom. She was dressed in a metallic suit that was the color of the night. Her short and spiky black hair surrounded and complimented her tan serious face.

"You're early," Infinity stated as he reached the last step.

"This isn't early for most," she replied moving out of his way as he strolled past her.

"Where is your father?" He asked as he walked towards the silver encrusted dinning room.

"Far, he had other matters to attend to so he sent me," Victory explained.

Infinity laughed tartly," So he sends you, of all people?"

"Why not me? I am as educated as he is in negotiating," she defended roughly.

"You tend to try to make peace and rebel against it," he said with a little anger in his voice.

Victory held her tongue. This meeting was extremely important in the lines of peace between the Antlered and the Humans. It just happened that she unknowingly made a slight mistake with the leader.

Infinity ran his long finger against his horn slowly as he was thinking," But we aren't here to discuss that."

"Yes we aren't," Victory supported quickly. "As you know recent out breaks of dominance has been report along the southern coast."

"Antlered have been harassing the humans that fish there," she continued formally.
"Maybe if they weren't so weak they wouldn't be bullied," Infinity snorted.

"That doesn't give any right on breaking the treaty!" Victory roared.

He brushed his face with his hand knocking back a strand of hair. His fuchsia eyes peered deeply into Victory's crystal white eyes and frowned. He turned away sharply pained by the sight of her face.

"I will have a meeting with them, but do not hold your breath," Infinity said finally breaking.

Victory put her hand on her chest and did a formal bow," Thank you, Sir Eon."
He glared at her," Only respectful when I grant one of your wishes?"

Victory held herself back from turning around and smacking him. She knew the only thing she would get from that is a slap to the face that would send her flying across the room.

She could understand why he was mad at her, but how could she know a regular antlered from one of royalty back then? Even so it didn't justify that she left him waiting for her at the edge of Delta, a city of humans who strongly hated his kind. Once they were in love before politics kicked in and they had planned to run away together. Yet, how could Victory abandon her people? So much was weighted on her taking the throne when her father dies, it would have been evil for her to just want a chance at a normal life. Now because of that decision she was teetering between the lines of war and all out savagery.

"I'll be back later to discuss the fundamental properties that reside with this feud," she said quietly as she turned sending her tattered cape in to the air.

When she left Infinity struggled to hold in his rage. Every time he saw her it was as if someone was mocking his torture. It was law that an Antlered could not lose control. Infinity had been beyond the point of breaking it. Now he wanted to destroy it.
Oh gosh this is so old XDDD
