Infinity turned to Victory in surprise, fear, and anger. Everything he wanted was in that sentence, yet it wasn't enough.

"Do you know what happened to me exactly on that day?" he said darkly.
She held her breath in suspense," No..."

He backed away from her and turned his attention towards the window," May reasons why I hate humans lie in that city."

Victory kept silent. She didn't want to ask why in fear that he might just try to kill her.

"Some guy," he started bitterly, "Knocked me out with a plank of wood and from there preceded to sell me on the black market."

Victory couldn't help ,but to gasp. She figured at most he might have been beaten, but sold?!

Infinity turned to her sharply forcing her to look him in the eyes," It turns out antlered sell quite well to people who want to have there twisted kinks!"

"Humanity has been tainted for years," Victory started," I had no part in what happened!"

"But you could have been there!" He yelled.

"No one would have harmed the precious princess!"

She couldn't hold it in any longer," How could I go with you?!"

He looked stunned and hurt that she would say that.

"I was only sixteen! You were eighteen!" she screamed," I have an entire inheritance of over ten billion people to look after when my father dies!"

"You told me age didn't matter," he muttered," YOU told me that you were willing to leave that for me!"

"I was foolish when I was young!" Victory lashed back receiving a worse look than from before," My eldest brother went missing and there was no way that I could have abandon my father. I sent a message to you saying to go back home, but I don't know what happened."

Silence prickled their skin as everything settled in. Infinity felt as if her couldn't breathe. She had lied to him the entire time! She hadn't ever truly loved him had she? He turned his back to her.
"Get out," he whispered.

Victory turned and started to walk to the door. She hadn't wanted it to end this way. Victory looked over at the man she once held above everything. She could she his frame shaking as if he was holding in the urge to scream or break down. Should she leave him again? She stopped. If she didn't do something the people she had so willing tossed her life away for may be looking forward to a war. She walked up to him. She was playing with fire, but she knew she had to risk it.

"Don't shut me out. I still do...have feelings for you," she confessed unable to release the word love from her mouth.

He didn't turn to her," You still want to see me suffer? Is this why you tell me this?"
"No, I am sincere about what I'm saying," she continued.

She had known him to be so prideful and to see how much he had been holding back was destroying her.

"I am engaged. I have no more time for your lies!" Infinity growled giving her a spiteful glare.

He whipped towards the stairs sending his hair into the air like a dark curtain that hung between them. Victory reached out to him quickly. Her hand landed on his shoulder. She braced her self for an incoming fist, but to her surprise it never came.

"Take...your hands off me," he whispered in a small voice.

Instead Victory wrapped around him ,"Infinity. Please, if not for me; forget the past for the people."

He shrugged her off hard sending her wielding back to the floor," I wouldn't dare put anyone's life in danger for the sake of something that happened in the past with you."

Infinity pounced up the stares in a fit. Victory was left on the tile of the mansion. Unknowingly, tears feel like droplets from her eyes hitting the surface of the floor that mirrored her weak pathetic self in her mind. Slowly, she picked herself up and stumbled outside to her awaiting car. Her body unwilling placed itself inside of the car and it sped off. She placed her head on the back of the front seat. So close; So close!
